"The northern aspect to the rear of this property enabled a two storey void to the Summer Room, which carries through to the living area – this brings ample light into the centre of the home on a narrow site."

Project Details
While the street elevation had to reflect lightweight materials and a traditional roofline compatible with council’s Character Code requirements, everything else has a clean, contemporary feel. The floors are polished concrete throughout, along with the kitchen bench; there is full height glass opening to the garden, and the master bedroom looks through to the voids both inside and out. The entry opens up to a view across the pool and privacy is achieved on the side boundaries with windows positioned low to the pool/water feature and high to the sky – with no looking into neighbours anywhere.
